GOOD TO KNOW
Your progress stays here.
Sharing is your choice.
Mr. G’s Arcade saves your progress and personal records in this browser. Worldwide leaderboards are optional. You can play and keep local records without signing in or posting a score.
What stays on your device?
Depending on the game, your browser remembers settings, unlocked levels, best scores, and run summaries. These are game records, not school grades. Posting a run does not move or replace your local progress.
Optional worldwide leaderboards
After an eligible new run, choose Post worldwide to share it. The score form offers a friendly word, an animal, and two digits for your public nickname. It does not collect your real name, email address, school, class, or other contact details. These nicknames are not unique and do not identify a person. No account is required.
Posting makes your chosen nickname, game, challenge settings, and run statistics public. Statistics include the score, time, answers attempted and correct, distance where relevant, and whether the challenge was completed. A game may also show first-try accuracy. Other people can view the leaderboard without signing in. Your detailed answer history and device saves are not uploaded to the leaderboard.
Each board compares runs with matching settings, so different modes and difficulties have separate rankings. Fastest-time rankings include only completed challenges. Boards show posted runs from the last 90 days. Older runs disappear from rankings, and stored records are removed periodically. Old device scores are not automatically uploaded.
Using a shared Chromebook
Anyone using the same browser profile may see its saved game records. Local saves do not automatically follow you to another browser or device. The standalone arcade also has separate saves from the teacher website. Clearing this site’s browser data removes its local progress and records; it does not remove scores you have already posted worldwide. Private browsing and school device settings may prevent local saves from lasting.
Connections and hosting
The arcade has no advertising scripts or third-party analytics. Game assets load from this website. Starting a new game may send its game and challenge settings to the leaderboard service to prepare that run for optional posting. A run appears publicly only after you choose Post worldwide.
The server receives the request’s IP address and derives a one-way tag that changes each day to limit repeated requests. The leaderboard database does not store the raw IP address. The hosting service may keep operational connection logs under its own terms.
For teachers and families
The arcade provides independent practice, local progress, and optional public game rankings. It does not have class rosters, teacher reports, student accounts, or school-wide progress tracking. Worldwide scores are separate from Mr. G’s classroom leaderboards.
